Built between 1666 and 1679 by Dutch East India Company (VOC) as a maritime replenishment station, the Casltle of Good Hope is the oldest colonial building in South Africa.

Open Daily from 9:00-16:00

The Castle of Good Hope is open seven days a week(Monday to Sunday)

and only closed on Christmas day (25 December) and New Year (1 January).

No guided tours on a Sunday.
